Over the years, Zimbabwe has seen significant changes in its tree cover, with a net decrease of approximately 5.91%. This decline is primarily driven by factors such as shifting agriculture, forestry, and wildfires.
The data reveals that shifting agriculture accounts for the majority of tree cover loss, contributing to over 50% of the total loss in some years.
